Incredible. There is no other word. Even in late September we had good weather. No midges. A series of fantastic individual day walks (Loch Lomond, Kinghouse to Kinlochleven over Rannoch Moor), made better by stringing them together over a 6/7 day walk. Stunning scenery. You really are away from civilisation for the most part. Not too busy in late September.
